The NCL Recruitment 2026 notification has been officially released by Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) — a Miniratna Category-I company and wholly owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited (CIL) under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India — for 270 vacancies of Assistant Foreman (Trainee) Grade-C posts in Electronics & Telecommunication (E&T), Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering disciplines.

Selected candidates will be deployed across NCL’s mines and establishments in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh and Sonbhadra, Uttar Pradesh — India’s Energy Capital. NCL contributes to 10% of India’s electricity generation through coal supply to major thermal power plants.

The training salary is ₹47,330.25 per month (Basic Pay, NCWA-XI) plus DA, HRA, Attendance Bonus, Transport Subsidy, Medical Facilities, PF, and Gratuity. Selection is through a CBT of 100 MCQs (90 min) — no interview, no negative marking.

📋 NCL Vacancy 2026 — Discipline & Category-Wise

270 vacancies across 3 disciplines. Electrical has the highest seats (148), followed by Mechanical (108) and E&T (14). Candidates applying for Mechanical and Electrical posts are automatically considered for both Excavation Cadre and E&M Cadre — separate merit panels are prepared for each.

Selection is purely merit-based — no interview at any stage. CBT score alone determines the final merit list. All three stages below must be cleared:
